That Inio Asano interview where he talks about AI is kind of heartbreaking. I was trying to ignore it but it keeps creeping into my mind

If you see something get announced or revealed and your first thought is ohhhh the fanbase is gonna be so annoying you are brainrotted and need to start spending more time outside

The witch hat atelier anime being good is great for my own mental health but I really do want to emphasize, without a hint of exaggeration, that its one of the best looking manga of all time and you should consider reading it even if you watch the show

People seeing the JoJos (lack of) announcement and shaking their fist at netflix for hating them specially and just not acknowledging the most obvious sign of production issues of all time is so crazy does everyone really think Netflix has all the episodes and is holding them back on purpose for fun

Favorite first watches of December, the titles are in the alt text :)

110

Kam @kiteintheclouds.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

Not do bring this up again bc I do it a lot, but the combination of rampant leaks and terrible official translation really destroyed people's perception of the latter half of JJK

People being weirded out by KyoAni adapting Ruri Dragon makes me feel like I'm missing something bc why wouldn't they want to adapt something that comes from the "this anime will make a billion dollars" factory and if you know the manga content there is no better studio you could pick for this

I really like Lebanne, but she's been co-opted by the lesbians (which is fair) so i gotta pick a new favorite Z-A character

Funniest thing about now reading some reviews for One Battle After Another is that reviewers haven't cottoned on to what year the movie takes place in but I heard Mo Bamba playing at the school dance I immediately understood that we were in 2018/19. Fantastic movie by the way, go peep if you can

Not to be a shady bitch and subtweet but people are so quick to be anti intellectual about art they don't like and it really annoys me

There is so much discomfort in being at the point where you aren't particularly "good" at something but the real truth of it is that so few people are ever completely satisfied with where their art is. The point is to find joy in the process and to learn.
