Former VP Mike Pence now manning up against his former boss doesn’t make him a hero. He had opportunities to use the 25th Amendment to evict Trump from office but never did … like January 2,2021 when the rest of the cabinet - notably excluding the VP - resigned. He is no hero. He’s an opportunist.

Our oven crapped out & is too old to get parts. “Settled” on an Anova Precision Oven 2.0 that seems to do everything short of throwing the ball for the dog. First bake today…everything bagels with scallion cream cheese. In under 1 1/2 hours total time. Delicious, efficient, and impressive.

I prefer to be realistic realistic. I’ve seen what people are capable of doing- good & bad. I hope for the best but preparing for the worst. Anne Frank believed in the goodness of all people & her friend turned her in to be killed. Baseless hope is dangerous; cautious pessimism is prudent.
