Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden coming back stills feels unreal, sometimes I think it was just some nice dream I had, but no, it's happening. I'm very happy

Utawarerumono (2002) ✅ Technically a replay, but I mostly focused on reading what was cut from Prelude (heheh) and rereading key scenes with Mirror Moon's translation. Overall not much reason to play this when the remake exists, but was nice to go back to the roots and the OG gameplay.

Oldboy ✅ Had a fantastic time watching this and can see why it's so highly regarded. While I could sort of put the twist together before it was revealed, the execution was still harrowingly disturbing and hard to stomach. The corridor fight scene was so damn good.

Lobotomy Corporation ✅ "Why do we have to know the cold agony of loss, the insidious poison of obsession, the soft light of wishing, the unbearable pain of despair; then the hope to embrace it all with open arms?" Never working for this company again. This game is fucked up. 9.5/10

One of my toxic traits for myself is that I hate dropping games. Even if I put in on hold and take years to come back to it, I always finish every game I start. Still, there's been very few games I've dropped or gave up at, but most were live service or free to play-

How do I force myself to finish Lobotomy Corporation, is there a technique, I don't want to leave it unfinished or jayboss it but also, jesus christ that game

Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse Not on the same level as the first game, but it's good. Story is the biggest highlight and what carried it for me, wasn't a big fan of anything else, though the gameplay was kinda clever. Albedo and Jr. the greatests. 7.5/10

Zeta Gundam has been really good so far. Watched the first 6 episodes (binged them, rather) and damn, I like the direction they've taken with the plot and the new factions formed after the war in 0079.

Kidou Senshi Gundam ✅ This marks the start of my Gundam journey, and I found myself loving this more than I thought. As dated as it is on a few aspects; the writing, realism and delicacy in handling its anti-war themes are more than enough to elevate it. Also Char is my GOAT. 8.5/10
