My most popular art of 2024, since I've never actually posted it on what is ostensibly my art account. This piece of #wuklamat that I did for my one-year drawing milestone! It's got more than a few flaws, like me, but I bet Lamaty'i would say that everything does - and that's what makes it lovely!

Wuk Lamat breaks through the walls of reality with a surge of power, launching herself into battle to rescue her friends and protect her people. Low angle as if she's dropping in from the ceiling towards the viewer, background of shattered blue glass and a swirl of yellow-green energy accumulates in her great axe.

Fell asleep while drawing so I didn't clean up last night's daily doodle very much, but it was a day where I needed some encouragement and the nice thing about art is you can make the words you need (even if you picked a difficult pose for 2am and don't get the mouth right at all)

Been taking a little art break apart from my daily doodle since I did too much and hurt my arm. Since I haven't had anything to post here's my silly daily doodle from the other day (prompts 'Alexander' and 'Drive' so we referenced a little Gundam Wing as a treat)

Anybody who knows me knows I've been unabashed about my adoration for the Third Promise. At its core, FF14 is one of the most Loving games I have ever played and Wuk Lamat really embodies that idea, and @senabryer.com's portrayal moved me to tears on more than a few occasions.

Officially been drawing for nine months! I started early last November, and have drawn every single day since December. I still have so far to go but I'm really proud of my progress, and in two weeks I'll be going back to school for art classes to formally learn more!!

"Ladies Night in Old Sharlayan" Alisae gets a couple Thavnarian Mules in her and suddenly all the schoolboy Alphinaud stories start bubbling out

Final Fantasy XIV fanart of Scions Y'shtola, Krile, Alisae, and Warrior of Darkness Clove Chanterelle having a night out at the Last Stand in Old Sharlayan. They're gathered around a table with pizza and archon loaf to share, a burger for Clove, a salad for Krile, and Alisae has already cleaned her plate (although she rejected the olives).
Clove has a beer, Alisae has a mule, Krile has an Amaurot Sour, and Y'shtola has wine.
Alisae is telling an animated story and mocking Alphinaud while the others erupt in laughter. In the background, Alphinaud, carrying a load of books up the stairs to the upper portion of the city, hears the laughter and turns with a look like "Heavens forfend!"
