kirii @kiriichii.bsky.social · 12/07/2025Really enjoying Recettear so far, I really like how the tight deadlines frame all the different mechanics, I usually find deadlines in calendar based games to be either too restrictive or too lenient but it feels really good here. Very charming little game. 000

kirii @kiriichii.bsky.social · 08/12/2024If you somehow come across this, know that you are bound by every force in the universe to sit back, watch, listen, and inhale, The Taste of Tea, by Katsuhito Ishii. I don't make the rules. 000
kirii @kiriichii.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Been thinking how simplistic prompty writing where the player fills gaps with their imagination (horii style) tends to be a lot more immersive than giving the player a verbose script (western style) in RPGs. A single well crafted line of text is all you need sometimes. 010
kirii @kiriichii.bsky.social · 25/11/2024Finished Dragon Quest 7 (psx), enjoyed it a lot, the short stories structure was very engaging. Even though the game is quite long (~115h blind), I found that it was very concise and only meandered in a few parts. In fact, the second disk felt very rushed and like it had quite a lot more to give. 010
kirii @kiriichii.bsky.social · 16/11/2024Dragon Warrior 7 on the PlayStation is very nice and makes me happy. 020
