I watched mostly every Universal Century animated work from 0079 to 0153 on that timeline, but paused G-Reco to finish G Gundam and Wing and start Gundam X. I also read many manga that fill in the gaps between Unicorn, F91, and Victory. Fastest Formula and Crossbone are amazing.

The follow-up stories to Gundam Unicorn include Twilight Axis and Narrative (read the manga versions for both). Twilight Axis is a reflection of those close to Char during CCA and hinting the Ronah family from Late UC. Narrative is more about the aftermath of Unicorn's events.

I spent 25 minutes clearing the marathon mode in the GBA version of Tetris Worlds, but I didn't know that only the European release has RetroAchievements support.

I happened to pick up two really long games in a short period. My past couple of months has been mostly Universal Century Gundam and retro games. But I also finished G Gundam recently and I'm liking Gundam Wing too.

The chocobo renting price is based on the number of chocobos which have been rented out and how many are still out riding, so the prices at Crag gates are expensive. I return to HorizonXI to do some questing and outpost supply runs, but I was actually in Big Walk the whole time.

Gundam F91 is an interesting watch. 2 hours of events that take place 30 years after Char's Counterattack. I heard the movie is actually a fourth of a full series, which explains the pacing issues. Hopefully the F90 and Crossbone manga will fill in the gaps.

I'm nearly caught up with all of Universal Century Gundam. After Requiem for Vengeance, it's Gundam F91, Victory Gundam, and G no Reconguista. And then maybe I'll start watching the alternate timeline stories while waiting for The Sorcery of Nymph Circe.

Rediscovered this freeware, arena shmup game called Fraxy. It can a very customizable experience with its boss and scenario editor. I was also surprised to see this 2006 game had its last update in 2015. There are even some surviving websites to share player creations. youtu.be/TcrPp5pMpBg

More job leveling and questing until I can teleport. I really felt that old MMO experience having to travel on-foot to pretty far places. It reminds me of when I explored Guild Wars 2 Core Tyria maps before the Raptor mount was added to the new player experience. 5/5

Not many pictures while running from Mhaura to Windurst, but on the way I grabbed the gate crystal from the Crag of Mea, delivered the supplies to West Sarutabaruta's outpost, and made it to Windurst safely. Many sidequests to do before teleporting back to Bastok. 4/5

The ship arrives and departs after a few minutes. During the trip, I watched a fellow passenger fend off all the monsters that outleveled me, healing them a little between fights so I don't draw aggro. The ship arrives and I explore Mhaura before going to Windurst. 3/5

On the way to Selbina, there happened to be a sandstorm in the Valkurm Dunes, so I could grab a pinch of sunsand for a little sidequest. From Selbina, I'll ride the ship to Mhaura. A nearby counter showed me the route the ship will take with a neat in-game map. 2/5

In HorizonXI, I traveled to Windurst for the first time for Bastok Mission 2-3 and a Sarutabaruta outpost supply run. Traveling mostly on foot because I don't have a chocobo license, as a level 19 Red Mage that's never been to Jeuno. 1/5

Had a silly thought like "animals with exoskeletons have great affinity with mechs" as if biomechanics doesn't already apply to every animal. There are mecha animals everywhere, and in games like Ace of Seafood you can skip the machine look and fire lasers as a group of sardines.

Finished Zeta Gundam, but all I feel is shock and tiredness. I got really engrossed in the character stories and old discussion threads. I also felt emotionally exhausted watching characters get frustrated and devastated over and over until everything suddenly ends. It's amazing.

Cleared Maiden & Spell. Normal difficulty for now. I liked the encounters and how unique each character moveset felt. And the last level was really satisfying to do. Fans of Rabbit and Steel or PVP shooters like Acceleration of Suguri should play it.

Cleared Absolver again. I might try to learn all the attacks or mess with Downfall.

I cleared The Witch Queen campaign in Destiny 2. I really enjoyed the presentation of antagonists and locales and the weapon crafting system. It really felt like a continuation of Beyond Light and some seasonal stories blurring lines between Light and Dark. (1/2)

I cleared Magic Castle (a homebrew #PSX dungeon crawler from 1998, re-released in 2020). The Archer class has a nice rhythm to stunlocking enemies, but I want to try the other classes too.

I repelled Lao-Shan Lung a few times back in 2023 with the Oldschool Monster Hunter community. The quest I did had a 35-minute time limit, but it took Lao-Shan Lung a couple minutes to walk from Area 1 to Area 2.
