Logan is a grifter but Vinny is an opportunistic coward. You knew about ModRetro & what your appearance would show complicity in but you did it anyway. You don’t get to play both sides by selling out to hang with a bigger streamer for exposure & still try to look like you have morals. FAFO.

Twitter post from Vinny, who collaborated with Logan Paul on his Shiny Hunting stream.

“I’m going to address this once, clearly, and then move forward. I’m saying this because I want to, not because I feel pressured to respond.

I do not support genocide. I find it troubling that assumptions about something this serious have been made about me based on my involvement in a Pokémon shiny hunting stream and the hardware connected to it.

Logan is my friend, but I am my own person. That means I do not inherit every opinion, belief, political position, or decision he makes.

I appreciate everyone who has continued to see me for who I actually am.”

I mean, Epic Games said outright that they’re fully embracing genAI and are using it to replace real artists, voice actors, etc. in Fortnite because people keep supporting them anyway and they’ll only feel emboldened to go further if we keep playing the game. But sure, go make Sora hit the griddy.

So it was recently discovered that you CAN redeem Channel Jirachi in Emerald - if you've specifically beaten Roxanne at least 4 times. For whatever reason, Emerald's internal flag for having done that is the same flag that R/S uses for entering the Hall of Fame. Sounds weird, but yeah, it works!

Level-5 presentation was BAD omg... like I know they've been pushing gen AI for years, but... how?? They must be getting paid a zillion dollars to promote AI or something because I can't fathom such a crazy fall from grace from a studio that once made such creative and uniquely stylized games...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news right during the pre-Bank closure panic but unfortunately, for some reason, PKSM and Checkpoint now use AI code. I hate this timeline.

I don't use twitch for streaming but I went to go disable the AI training thing just in case I ever do in future - there's something so blatantly shameless about how it's literally the only thing here that's enabled by-default.

Let the closure of Bank in February motivate you to do crazy things in these games you never considered doing before, or carefully curate which treasured Pokemon you want to send up to HOME for the future. Don't let it become a massive panic where you feel like all will be lost forever.

Not to be dramatic, but for me personally, this is tantamount to announcing the end of the world. More than half the reason I like Pokemon as a franchise is the interconnectivity. Dexit stung but was bearable because of home. This cuts of gens 3-7 from the switch. I am distraught.
