Paint over of a sketchbook drawing. Definitely doing more of this drawing pipeline B) also lots more pirate monkey and fucked up lore to come!!!

Been revisiting my trans art lately so here’s two gauche paintings I did back in high school! 🏳️‍⚧️

A painting of a blue deer tangled in wires. Fighting back against its restraints, it cranes its neck upwards and screams out “LIBERATE US” to a backdrop of the trans pride flag.

A painting of a transgender person hugging themselves in their binder with warmth and joy. Framing them is the trans pride flag with superimposed text that says “TRANS HAPPINESS IS REAL.”

This piece is probably 3 years old now but becomes more and more relevant to me as time goes on. It’s important to be proud now more than it ever has been.

Thank you! I always animate on 24fps. This shot was done mainly on 3s with some 2s, 4s, and 5s here and there!

Hehe I will!! It’s just wild how all the other socials (other than tumblr) has punished using hashtags so much 😭 they are so useful!

Using hashtags is so scary guys it feels unnatural

Bluesky pleaaassseee stop hitting all depictions of the human body with an adult content censor and also allow private accounts 😇

Haha I wish—as far as I know there’s no way to appeal :”) it really sucks! I hope they amend it to allow artistic nudity through in the future

Yeah I’m not surprised at all. They’re so spineless. It’s just crazy to see such a great story that explicitly addresses the real world bigotry trans youth face get thrown away because supporting trans people isn’t lucrative right now. That episode could do so much good in the world.
