Hey yo! For all those going to FWA this year the Helldiver will once again be returning to the con! While I had aimed for a more Futurepunk themed outfit this year, I was convinced that Helldiver was important enough to make a re-appearance. Photo by @emberdauntless.art

While it is taking me a while to plan out, tape up, and paint these I wanted to share a few more progress pictures.

I think this one is a pretty iconic pattern to spot but a sneak peak at one of the mask themes =)

Painting is moving along! Getting base coats down first before starting to mask off for further details.

Oh awesome! Will submit for a chance =) Here is a rough Kins ref sheet and I would say nostalgic vibe of 90's Tacobell

Guess I should post a some refs of Kins himself here! He is an anthro/werewolf base though most people probably know me from the Zoroark model with his colors I use online. Original ref image base is from @zire9.bsky.social from back in the day. Go check out his work if you like werewolves!

Black paint is drying! Going to do some green airbrush and then it will be complete! Very much would like to do what Willow did with lights and all but for tonight this will work well I think ;D.

Sadly I don't know the artist but this gave me a good laugh.

Running on fumes, literally! Went to start filler and only had half a can left! Made a run to the store and thankfully can get all the filler down tonight 😃. Will get to final sanding in the morning before doing the black and airbrushing in the green and should be all good to go for tomorrow night!

From a good friend's comment: "The wolf says "OwO" *blushes". Time to put on that makeup!

Kins Wolf @kinswolf.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

Well, managed to get the other pieces sanded down and glued together! Normally I would be more dillagent in sanding things down allot more smoothly but this being a rush project and because Willow Creative made such awesome files I think things will still come out looking great!

Nothing gives a good workout like hand sanding PLA 😆. I need to learn some better methods/tools to maybe help save on time better in the future like Willow, Episilon, and other great makers. Learned a bit but still always improving and doing better!

Still not able to live in my house yet but in the background of house repair work I've been working hard to complete something for FWA around the corner.

While I'm still working on painting the Neo-Wolf mask I've been printing a few lithophane Christmas Bells. Some are gifts but hope to sell the 4 others I currently have soon.

Back from a wedding and worked on base paint and sanding for the mask. Need to decide what colors I want (thinking black, white and orange?) and start masking off sections.

Kins Wolf @kinswolf.bsky.social · 02/11/2023

Alright! Had part of the support break away 19 hrs into the print but thankfully it mostly recovered and have an acceptable mask! Printing out the rest of the parts now and excited to sand and paint this up!

Still fighting this horrible ear infection but some friends encouraged me to start printing again! Giving a try at a madk bu RTProps on insta and excited how it is going so far.

Given an ongoing ear infection I have finally had some energy to focus and work on things this last week. Did a Halloween texture for myself using @arcticasper.bsky.social's Halonyx base. Asper even helped me with the design. May I present the Jack-O-Nyx

Finally getting around to posting this but a very beautiful sketch of my kitsune, Aurora, by @shinigamigirl.bsky.social. Shinigami did this for me back at Denfur and I was so happy with how well they got Aurora's island personality. Thanks again and hope you all enjoy as well!

Okay, now that I've had a few days to recover from my trip (still got a bad cough though) I am ready to post again. Spent the last day with these 3 Iggies around. The following morning I woke up before sunrise and got the picture of the moon while boarding the plane. Last photo of Lac Bay windsurf.

An artisit with a paintbrush, changing the colors of the sky. I truly don't have many words for how captivating these sunsets are, but I hope this set of pictures (all from I sunset) can share that beauty and magic with all of you.

Sitting here waiting around on my last day here on Bonaire. Just trying to take in the moment and fight off the anxiety of going back. That said, I miss my friends and been wanting to work on some.projects again! Also, I spy with my little eye a werewolf maker in the sky.

Late post but a few pictures of wildlife around the island. You can see some amazing fish thru the crystal clear water as you eat, coral inlays of flamingos, and some real ones. The "white" one was right on the beach with us and trying to find an easy snack.

Kins Wolf @kinswolf.bsky.social · 06/09/2023

Poor thing. Would take her with me to a sunset beach in a heartbeat.

A few of my atempts to capture the beautiful sunsets here. It never gets old seeing this and watching the sky turn as the sun dips bellow the waves.

Found an awesome little open air pizza place with KITTIES! This little guy here would cry at you and beg for attention (and extra food). Suprised these were the only cats I've seen on the island but they were adorable 🥰.

Curious Iguanas would come up looking for food (and beer apparently). This was probably the smallest one but got the closest to us. A few more pictures of Washington Park before we left along with another flock of diving flamingos.

A few days ago we went up to Washington National Park here on Bonaire. Allot of crazy dirt roads but some beautiful views. Some overally friendly lizards visited us at our snorkling spot and I FINALLY saw some wild Flamingos!

From a few days ago while watching the sun set there were some night divers that came by off our patio. Also neat to watch the lights under thebocean waves. Think you would be up for an ocean swim in the dark?

000 0

Kins Wolf @kinswolf.bsky.social · 03/09/2023

Suprised I haven't seen one of those here! Brought my Absol along for some island sunsets though.

Finished up yesterday with some awesome cave tours. Bonaire is a coral reef that has been pushed up out of the ocean, so the entire interrior of the island is just hollow coral caves. Last cave we did you actually swim in fresh water. No pictures but I managed to see shrimp and very rare Blind Fish.

Today's activities? Iguanas, hummingbirds, and landsailing! You'd be amazed how fast these karts cam go around the track (apparently the local record was about 65kpm/42mph).
