You learn so much more from people who are alive and with you than the remnants of people who have already died. I'm not even talking retirement age, just people living into at least middle age. We have seen this play out already. Queer culture was decimated in the 80s.

Alongside this, more representation of inexperience with older characters. Older characters are always portrayed as experienced and knowledgable, and not knowing what to do is scary. It's OKAY to NOT KNOW THINGS. Those who are older can learn, those who are younger can teach. Kink is exploration.

i want to see more characters in their 30s and 40s. like I get the wish fulfilment of a character that's 22 and living the kinky lifestyle dream but as I get older that's not my fantasy anymore. I feel represented by characters who came out of their shell later in life or had to work towards it
