Doing something different today! !! TW: horror, clown !! My partner's doing a Pennywise cosplay and I'm trying to make a head prosthetic for it. Direct 3-piece printed mold, there will be some seams, but that's okay for this use. It's gonna take days to print, but I hope it turns out nice!

It's perfect! Plenty of room to slide the master into the shell, uniform clearance all around, and it should be strong enough to survive the clamping a few times! 🥳 Can't wait to see the mold in the next few days

My friend has given me the greenlight to share the results! This is before post-processing, so don't look too closely, but damn, I'm so happy with the outcome already. The white discoloration seems to be from isopropyl alcohol I didn't let evaporate before curing, but that shouldn't be an issue.

I can't believe it. My first successful pour! It's a perfect second attempt 🥹 The firmer A10 silicone for the mold was such a good choice. I can reflect the whole mold without concern of ripping it, it's insanely helpful. The toy itself is also A10! I'm insanely happy 😊😊😊

Here's the new mold! It's infinitely better in A00-20! It holds its shape well but I can still reflect it to spray it with mold release, unlike the last one which was way too soft. First pour incoming SOON 🔥🔥🔥

The mold shell came out perfectly! I've launched a PLA print of the master as well, screw the resin print for this one. The detail is super low on purpose, so I might as well spare myself the pain of printing resin in winter. I'm actually stoked for this one now! I feel like I can get it right 🔥
