It takes 11 mins to bake the cookies... it takes 2-3 hours to get to that point. Don't start at 3 pm and think "Oh I'll get back to the stuff I'm working by 4 pm while the cookies are in the oven!" It's 7 pm now... courtesy of not having an electric mixer... 4/4

If you are decorating cookies, don't use 30 different shapes. It's really REALLY hard to come up with 30 different freaking designs for cookies when you are decorating them! Instead, do like 2 or 3, then you can change colours and sprinkles and make it 1000x easier. 3/4

When it says 1/4 tsp of almond extract and 2 tsp of vanilla extract, the reason is because almond extract is powerful AF. The house used to smell like cloves now it smells like cloves and almonds and I only used 1/2 A TSP!!! 2/4
