Unova #Pokemon. It might be obvious by the numbers beneath the pokemon, but I actually did these in a random order. Most of them were chosen through a randomizer, but as I began to near the last quarter of the challenge, I started to pick and choose the ones that felt the most fitting. 5/12

Sinnoh #Pokemon from my challenge. I didn't end up deciding to draw variants of certain pokemon (like burmy and gastrodon) until much later, which is why there's so much time between when I drew them. I drew the line at variants that didn't really change much between pokemon. 4/12

Hoenn #Pokemon. I actually went through two tablets and three art programs for the duration of this challenge, though that might not be readily apparent just by looking at the doodles. My old tablet was a cheap Wacom thing that I had had for well over 10 years by the time I replaced it. 3/12

Been a bit, plus I forgot to post this since I did it a week ago. I wanted to do more poses for Ralts and decided on using the music video for Tunak Tunak Tun by Daler Mehndi for pose inspirations. I’m happy with how it turned out! #pokemon #drawing #art #learning

Looks like a mathematics graph, but this was the initial sketch of Lotad.

Lotad’s body finally started coming together, but even then I must have redrawn him at least 5 times in the process.

A shading job on Lotad that I am much happier with than my previous attempt. Still got a lot to learn, but I will keep going one step at a time!

My next caught Pokémon is Surskit! Because of the more minimal design, I attempted to do some shading. Didn’t quite turn out how I would have liked, but I don’t hate it. Definitely gonna be trying to shade further drawings to get better at it. #pokemon #drawing #art #learning

First attempt to shade something. While it works well enough, I definitely need to learn more about blending the shadows. Definitely a skill to start building!

While at work I had the goal of drawing Wurmple and feel like I succeeded! I definitely had a good laugh on how long I made the initial sketch as I overestimated the size of this bug by a large margin. Altogether, came out well though! #pokemon #drawing #art #learning

The long boy that was the initial Wurmple sketch. I hadn’t realized how long I had actually made him until later though.

After sketching the head of Wurmple then starting on the body was when I realized how small he actually is! This was remedied, but now only takes up a portion of the page.

Added details and Wurmple has far more little details than I thought originally. I think this sketch took me the most time overall for getting it together.

And a completed Wurmple! Maybe I should add some shading? Or perhaps that’ll be another time, i’ll try it out someday.
