It's been 75 hours since On Call, the werewolf dispatching game, launched. I told myself to check it every ~24 hours so I wasn't being consumed by it! Let's see how we're doing Backers: 47 Amount Raised: 891 (29% funded) bit.ly/OnCallBacker... #blackhistorymonth #ZiMo #dispatch #ttrpg #werewolf

TEXT: ON CALL A TTRPG BY VJ HARRIS

IMAGE 1: In the bottom right hand corner is a drawing of a semi realistic eye in white with the words Revealed Universe circling it.

IMAGE 2: in the background a silvery street map is behind a yellow moon that's the center of the image. There's a sound wave inside of the moon. In the forefront the black silhouette of a wolf wearing a yellow head set!

The rascal article reads to me as a small messy situation that was made into a bigger messy situation by exposure to crowdfunding money for sure. That being said, I do still think there are publishers that are managing this crowdfunding era of TTRPGs a little more carefully than others.

As a frequent vendor at a lot of trrpg shows, PAX U/PAX East is absolutely the best for LGBTQIA+ support and inclusion that I attend.

Just wondering before I take it out of the frame and haul it over there; I 've had a St Offren's Grounds coffee poster that's decorated my wall in three different homes now and moved out here to ABQ with me. Would you sign it if I brought it?

What weapon did you go with?

50 Beasts to Break your Heart by GennaRose Nethercott. Perfect little slices of weird fiction.

I don't disagree with anything you posted. I wasn't trying to defend 5e, just pointing out an option.

There's no reason that you can't run minions in 5e.

It's legitimately the only Drake verse I fuck with, and I think it's because of how hard he dunks on himself unintentionally.

Would it be possible to artificially rough up the inside of the horn, like with a high grit sandpaper first?

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this. Smashed records. Curtesy of Garrett Roberts.

The only thing Chappell Roan put out in 2024 was "Good Luck Babe" and I don't think that song is a top 10 contender. Then again, Todd has included stuff from prior years on a year's list before so it wouldn't be unheard of.

I would be surprised if Rednote sees sustained use by anywhere near the number of users Tiktok has. Even 10% of the userbase moving and staying for more than a month seems unlikely to me.

If you and your players enjoyed the game, you're a good GM. That's the only bar.

As someone that loved Future Nostalgia and liked Radical Optimism, I think she was just unable to meet the big expectations set by that album. Radical Optimism's solid, but if you want to keep your momentum going from a huge album you need better than solid.

Coheed and Cambria's latest tour poster uses AI assets and it sucks.

That we can build strong enough local communities and coalitions to take care of the most vulnerable people no matter what the government does or doesn't do.

That's my vote, too. Some songs are just bad, but this one had a whole eight chapter saga leading up to it being terrible.
