Hmm... more like this (you know the author)
Excerpt from https://bouletcorp.com/notes/2013/02/03 -- a comic in which the protagonist briefly comes back to its teen years, looks into the mirror and goes "ahahaha, oh shiiiit, I need to do something about this".

sponge is part of the moreutils package, which also offers ts, vipe and errno, among others -- joeyh.name/code/moreuti...
Description: additional Unix utilities
This is a growing collection of the Unix tools that nobody thought
to write long ago, when Unix was young.
 .
So far, it includes the following utilities:
  - chronic: runs a command quietly unless it fails
  - combine: combine the lines in two files using boolean operations
  - errno: look up errno names and descriptions
  - ifdata: get network interface info without parsing ifconfig output
  - ifne: run a program if the standard input is not empty
  - isutf8: check if a file or standard input is utf-8
  - lckdo: execute a program with a lock held
  - mispipe: pipe two commands, returning the exit status of the first
  - parallel: run multiple jobs at once
  - pee: tee standard input to pipes
  - sponge: soak up standard input and write to a file
  - ts: timestamp standard input
  - vidir: edit a directory in your text editor
  - vipe: insert a text editor into a pipe
  - zrun: automatically uncompress arguments to command

The Fifth Element would probably not pop in the list of movies I would bring to a desert island. AND YET... it 100% influenced the way I named my latest (obscure) pet project.
Screenshot of "Moulti", a Terminal User Interface (TUI) piece of software, showing a screenshot of the emblematic "Multipass" scene from The Fifth Element (1997). Written underneath is "moulti pass", arguably the most important subcommand in Moulti.

Like this?
A Terminal-based User Interface named "Moulti" displaying the output of an "ansible-playbook" command. Each Ansible task is displayed as a collapsible area. All tasks are collapsed except the last one: "PLAY RECAP".
