it's really not bloated. I think you could argue that a BIT with rebirth, but even then that's just optional content you don't need to interact with if you arent enjoying it. Every addition to the main game in both of them is just good as hell and feels important

destiny 2 has gotten a lot of shit over the years for reasons i don't super agree with, but it doesnt really matter anyway because its lasting legacy will be as a foundation for a textbook's worth of genius design, art, narrative, and audio ideas that have made it into modern videogames
