Its for the same reason maple sugar farming is having trouble. The trees are being burnt during the summer and letting the leaves go as soon as the temp drops, theres not a gradual or gentle transition between the seasons.

Drawing is just learning to write a new language, its all repeated shapes just remixed to communicate in different ways. My handwriting is messy but so is my lineart, theyre very similar skills.

Note the deliberate and slow movement. All of these lines have a specific amount of pressure being put on that is maintained the whole way thru. Its the difference between writing a quick note and taking time to write neatly, we just dont think of writing as drawing lines-

I love horror and dark stuff but I am against the romanticization of abuse in any form. Or the use of dark subject matter just to tittilate. Horror monsters arent sexy because they do horrifying things theyre sexy because they are strange and scary. Much like a hot woman.
