The game is overall fun to play, but if you get bad RNG to start a game multiple times, it really just makes it less enjoyable. Especially when it's just watching your opponent basically play on their own since you can't do anything lol

Also I competed in a local pokemon TCG cup yesterday and did *so* badly lol But also most of my losses were because I bricked multiple times. Stuff like shaymin being my only basic, and tons of evolutions in hand but no other basics. And no buddy buddy poffins, no pokepads, and no supporters

Like, it’s nice to have fancy cards. But with the scalper BS all around pokemon, I’ve seen many times where parents just couldn’t afford much because of the prices of the packs So I dunno, I try and share cool stuff with those kids who might not get as many chances for having those cards

So, since I've been starting to play the Pokemon TCG lately, I've also decided I'm gonna try to make a master set for the Pitch Black release, since it's the first set where I started playing aaaa I've got quite a few of the common cards now, I'm mainly just hunting down the more rare cards now xP

Gotcha! Yeah there's a local card shop that I've been going to with my friend every week to play, everyone there is really nice! luckily I've been able to find most of the cards I need to build a deck that's the same as online, and my friend is a judge and he's been helping me deck build too

I got the full CICD pipeline up and running for Fennec last night, along with the first official beta version of 0.2.0! At this point it’s just adding a couple more small features and beta testing, and at that point a 1.0.0 release will be on the horizon ^^

Mainly just trying to assist people being better at tagging their stuff. Like when people just throw up three incredibly generic keywords, vs adding multiple more descriptive keywords that accurately describe their submission

I agree, but even FA themselves had given some loose tips on helping with submission rankings and such in an older journal: www.furaffinity.net/journal/1012... The intent isn't to tag stuff with irrelevant terms, in fact that's against FA's upload policy and is a reportable offense.

Since Fur Affinity uses Sphinx, an open source search engine, I was able to look into the Sphinx source code and see how their different ranking algorithms worked Then it was just a matter of trying different coefficients against live FA search results to find the weights that fit the equation
