Went for a walk this morning and took some photos. I edited one according to the new war the US just started. It’s called “An Orange Wet Dream”. #photography #photoediting #orange #bombs #war #Trump #Iran #fascism #USterrorism #shadows

This little piece on paper is influenced by a class I took a while back by Sally Tyrie and Fiber Arts Take Two. It is a combination of #GelliPlate #print and #photo #lithography. #urban #printmaking #city #diagonal

Combination of gelli plate print and photo lithography picturing an urban-flavored medley of lines with a strong diagonal and vertical direction.

Experimenting. This is a #collage on paper with a print #lithograph on top. Thinking of the original collages by Picasso and Braque and how what is considered as “cultured” is usually some sort of #eurocentric construct that the #GlobalSouth just cannot claim. #culture #whatisart

Collage in browns, black, and yellow on paper with a overlying barbed wire lithograph

The ele_elna_elak, (What's Ours Is Yours), is launching the "Freedom" desalination plant in #Gaza City. This achievement, accomplished during the #genocide and without resources in such a short time, is truly like digging into a rock.

Went food shopping after work and this is what I saw when I came out. Oddly, it very accurately mirrors what I feel like today.

Still #playing. I ended up turning the piece I posted last on its head. I’m very fond of unbalanced compositions, so it suited me better this way. Apparently, I’m into subtle value contrast these days. Who would have thunk! #painting #abstractart #kunst #contemporaryart #learningcurve #femaleartist

You take sheet glass and layer it, then put it in a kiln and fuse the layers together at high temperature. With the pendant below you can see some of the layers that make up the piece.

This is an email I got tonight from the traitor Gillibrand. I can’t even fathom how stupid she thinks her constituents are!!!! The same night as her voting with the GOP!!!!! 😡

This is the beginning of an email I received tonight. #KirstenGillibrand first votes with the #GOP for their #SpendingBill and then sends out a #propaganda email claiming she fights for #Medicaid, #Veterans, and the small man. She must think her constituents are stupid. #Democrats #Traitor #karma

One more post about the #CyTwombly show at #Gagosian. The first piece is my favorite piece of the #exhibition. I wrote almost 4 pages in my journal last night about why I love this one. #modernekunst #abstractart #fineart #contemporaryart #drawing #painting

Abstract drawing on paper by Cy Twombly. Scribbles in graphite and what looks like red oil pastel, some of which are covered up by white paint. The bottom inscription reads: one more cup of wine for our remaining happiness.

Close up of the prior abstract drawing by Cy Twombly. It shows details of the scribbles and the veiled scribble.

Abstract painting on paper by Cy Twombly. There is a gradient of paint application from a thin desaturated orange, through thin desaturated pink hue, to a dominating deep saturated orange with red scribbles and an inscription ‘HAKEM’ in the bottom.

Another #CyTwombly blackboard painting I saw today at #Gagosian. It’s amazing all the stuff you see as you move in. Close up, you see that he had some spiral lines running down the middle of the panel but then changed his mind and covered them up. #fineart #contemporaryart #modernekunst #abstractart

Abstract blackboard paintings in 9 panels by Cy Twombly: rhythmical mostly white marks on a dark gray ground increasing from left to right.
