Saddened to hear of Sam Neill's untimely passing. I loved him in every movie I ever saw him in, but I especially loved him in "The Hunt for the Wilderpeople." He made me laugh and cry in this one and I've watched it three times so far. Rest in peace, Sam.

Sobbing as my neighbor is having a beautiful healthy American linden tree (aka basswood, Tilia Americana) removed this morning. For #WIPWednesday I've got my Diane top, pattern by Berroco. I'm using Pandamonium yarn (that's how they spell it) by Cascade, and really loving how this project is knitting up so far. First time to knit a top side-to-side, so I'm a little anxious about how it will look. 🧶 #knitsky #knitting #yarn

Papa robin managed to get the chicks through another day after mama died. He accepted my gift of mealworms and waits beside the dish for me to refill it. 😁 Happy to make his work easier. Sadly, the mama Robin died this morning, so the male is left caring for 2 chicks. I hope he's up to the task because they need several more days before they can fledge from the nest. House sparrows are attacking today, so chances not good. I bought mealworms for them to help him out though. #birds

I'm anxious to finish this lightweight "Garden Cardigan" so I can wear it before it gets too warm this summer. Went to doc for elbow pain today and she told me to wear a "tennis elbow" brace so I can keep knitting. I like her. (We all know it's knitter's elbow 🤷‍♀️) #wipwednesday #knitsky #yarn 🧶

On this #WIPWednesday I'm suffering through an elbow injury that's preventing me from working on my lovely projects. 😭 I didn't knit for a week and then did a test for 20 minutes last night, but my pain increased so I'm backing off again. So frustrating to wait! #knitsky 🧶
