kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 14/09/2026you are very talented Lisa and I wish you the best results on your efforts. Testing out glass interactions ahead of time helps a lot, molten glass is temperamental stuff. I have had success doing mosaics on clear glass, I kind of like flipping it over and viewing in reverse. 120
kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Thank you for sharing the result, what you were trying was very challenging so don’t feel bad some of the glass didn’t play well with the rest of the piece. Your mosaic is incredible, are you going to tack fuse it? Or do a more traditional mosaic? Tack fused mosaic of mine 110

kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Happy Friday everybody! Pic of a nice Orchid blooming in the front yard. We have been looking forward to seeing this one bloom. 1101

kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Be warned they might sell you car insurance. They also got imported to Hawaii and are reasonably common here. A small colony lives in the garage and really like syrup or honey. Pick of a larger cousin we saw camping who was as long as a cinder block. We fed him bugs. 130
kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 30/05/2026An extremely less talented piece I have made, its an area of interest and Lalique remains an inspiration. 011

kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 24/05/2026If at first you don’t succeed an extra bit of glass never hurts. Some of my favorite pieces are literally made of scraps. 000
kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 22/05/2026You can’t unstupid the word, you can live well. for all of our flaws humanity has done some pretty great things. Usually after trying everything else. I personally consider a good tiki like a cosmic “you are here sign“ to help people stay grounded. 010
kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Its Hawaiian for James so pretty common name and nickname. I got named after my grandfather except in Hawaiian. kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 29/04/2026That is part of being an artist, you would be doing it anyway even if nobody was looking. Maybe tuned in to a deep signal a compulsion older than words. Why did I make this? Maybe it’s best not to find out. 020
kimo957.bsky.social @kimo957.bsky.social · 25/04/2026In the garden today I got a halfway decent photo of a poison dart frog, these little guys aren’t native but they are very photogenic and shy. #frog 070
