This *should* theoretically be more accurate because it's a heart rate monitor on my wrist but it's obviously bullshit

I am active for like 3-4 hours every single day, but most of that activity is low Z2, like 115-125 bpm. I can do my 50k bike ride or 10 mile hike and not get tired/cramps without having to eat additional carbs. There's just no reason to estimate calorie burn being that high.

I don't use an app or anything, estimate from nutrition labels/food scale is sufficient. I'm really consistent with what I eat and never eat any processed food/added sugar unless on a 100k+ bike ride. I'll plug stuff into myfitnesspal once every 3 months or so to make sure I'm not wildly off base.

Every day my fitbit says I burned 4,000 calories, while I consume 1,500-2,000. Given that I am losing 1 pound a week rather than wasting away and/or getting injured, I am pretty skeptical about how it's measuring this shit!
