I visited DillyDally too! The trikes outside nooks were so cute!

I’ve wanted to visit for so long and it was worth the wait!

TGIS here! Feels like spring too, which I’m SO ready for (feeling very over winter)

I also toured an island from @thezsisland.bsky.social & @pinkycrossin.bsky.social & others. I’m tempted to make a long form video with the highlights of the islands I toured, if people are interested?

Yesterday I toured @markwars.bsky.social’s island on stream. It’s such a beautiful island & I took loads of photos & clips, but this stormy moment was one of my favourites. 💛

My birthday stream is in 2 days & you’re invited! Join us for a fun celebration, including gaming, Mario Kart, plus some celebrations and silly goals. For time zones: - if you’re in NZ, it’s on Wednesday at 10am - for US people, it’s on Tuesday at 3pm PST/6pm EST. 💛 Alt text explains Leroy pic.

I ran out of time to make a promo graphic so instead here’s a photo of my dog Leroy using the 0.5 lens on my phone.

It’s fine here but now I’m realising why I’m mostly only seeing NZ/local users haha

He was yelling things like “the cost of what? The cost of wanting the latest iPhone. That’s their issue!” The poor staff member stayed silent the whole time, probably wanting to run. I left before I started yelling. It was SO bizarre and so out of touch.

Yesterday I was in a local shoe store. Not a chain. I was completely ignored because the boomer aged owner was yelling, intensely, to a staff member about how the current cost of living crisis isn’t real.

Fingers crossed things turn around for you, well before the election as it’s still a few months away! I’m hoping with spring coming things’ll pick up again 🤞🏻

My store has suddenly died too, August is always quieter but this August is even quieter online. I blame the election year (things always get super slow leading up to elections, last time I mentioned it to a friend who runs a cafe and she had the same thing happen)
