(1/3) I don't know what's with that piece of trash of a human being my mom is living with, but lately, it feels like he is showing creep and predatory behavior. Ever since he installed a security camera that can move around, he's not only constantly following my mom around with that damn thing

The Pride Radio Network's new logo is complete! For those who are curious, the artist I commissioned to make this logo is Shintaworld, you can find info about her at her webpage: shintaart.weebly.com #hamradio #amateurradio

Thanks to everyone that responded; I have taken bits and pieces of ideas from some of you and I have submitted them along with my ideas to the artist. The new logo will be unveiled when it's ready.

I found an artist who will draw the logo for the Pride Radio Network, a global queer-owned & operated repeater system founded by myself & some Aussies, but I need some ideas to give to the artist. Who has ideas? Describe what you think might work as a logo for the network. #hamradio #amateurradio

I want to clarify something about this post: I have severe financial difficulties, I can't afford to pay anyone, so this will not be a paid commission. If I could pay, I would, but I'm very broke, so I'm unable to.

I'm looking for an artist who is familiar with ham radio who could draw up a logo for the Pride Radio Network and also another one for my QRZ profile picture. I want to ditch the AI-generated images and replace them with real artist content. #hamradio #amateurradio

(1/2) I have decided to remove all AI-generated music from my channel. Not only does AI-generated music lack soul, emotion, and the human touch, AI music generators are also trained on stolen music without permission from original artists, whether it's copyrighted or not.

My little gremlins (small yappy dogs) have been on my ass all night, like they wouldn't leave me alone. I swear, those little shits are attention whores.

Ugh, my sleep has been all over the place. My body can't seem to make up its mind when to sleep and when to wake up. My sleep schedule is constantly rotating and I don't know why.

(1/2) #hamradio #amateurradio Apparently, some clueless old men were confused about why I have two ham radio callsigns and they angrily insisted that I'm only allowed one. They are wrong, dead wrong. While it's true that in the US and in some other countries, they only issue one callsign, however,

What's with the increase in the cost of living here in the US? I see the costs of everything in the store has skyrocketed, like WTF? We can't even afford to buy food anymore, especially folks like me with limited fixed incomes. This is fucking ridiculous! Something needs to be done to ease the pain.

Hey y'all! I hate begging for money, but my grocery bill is almost $200. I'm on a limited fixed income & when I pay rent/utilities, I have little left. $200 is difficult to afford. Any help would be amazing. Paypal/Venmo: @KimberlyMcBlaze CashApp: $KimberlyMcBlaze #MutualAid #MutualAidRequest

Do any Aussie ham radio operators know of a remote-controlled station that any licensed VK ham can use? I'm still looking for one so I can make proper use of my VK callsign. All known ham radio clubs with remote HF stations ghosted me when I enquired about membership. #hamradio #amateurradio

These youngins don't know a thing about old school phones... When I mentioned something about owning a landline, one asked me, "Is it like an Android, iPhone, or a flip phone? Does it have a touchscreen?". They were absolutely flabbergasted when I showed them pictures of landline & office phones.

Just to clarify, this host is what I'm using to not only host my portion of the Pride Radio Network, but also my Sharkey (Mastodon-compatible) instance, among several other things. The Pride Radio Network is a #hamradio #amateurradio multi-mode internet connected repeater network.

Kimberly Chase @kimberlymcblaze.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

I don't understand my hosting provider, #Hetzner... I was quoted just shy of $30 per month for my VPS and it was $30 for one month, now I'm paying just over $50 per month, what's with the $20 price increase? I can't sustain this for long due to low income.

Brandmeister & their policies are openly hostile against the spirit of ham radio. The people who run that network are a bunch of jerks. Many of them are also incredibly toxic & also homophobic/transphobic. For my concern, they all can go fuck themselves. #brandmeister #dmr #hamradio #amateurradio

Trolls tried to jam me while I was making HF contacts via a remote controlled station on 7.198 MHz. They were playing tones & audio sweeping noises. They also rebroadcasted my live-stream without permission on frequency. They also commented on how bad my call sign was. #hamradio #amateurradio

(1/10) Sorry if I'm all over the place, but I need to vent. I don't know what's with Mom, but she's getting increasingly agitated. She has been yelling at me and accusing me of things I am not and she refuses to listen to me when I tell her what is going on with me.

I'm looking for a panel unit for the Yaesu FTM-300DR; this is basically the control head. I wound up permanently breaking mine during a failed repair attempt. Does anyone have a panel unit or a dead FTM-300 with a working panel unit? #hamradio #amateurradio

(1/2) My mental health is not great. I have been struggling for years and years, most of my life. Most of the time, I fake being okay, but to be honest, I'm not okay. For years, I tried seeking professional help, tried many meds, nothing helped & meds made things worse.

(1/2) Damn, I can't believe it's 5 days until my 36th birthday... No birthday plans, though. I never had any meaningful birthday celebrations since childhood. It'll be treated like it has been for the longest time... another plain ordinary and uneventful day with no celebrations.

Attention Pride Radio Network users: Server migration is complete and systems should be operational. Report any issues ASAP. DNS may take 24–48 hrs to propagate; some may need to update hosts manually. If you can’t reach the US hub yet, use the Aussie hub. #hamradio #amateurradio

Attention Pride Radio Network users: This server migration has been a nightmare. AllStarLink & EchoLink are working now. The Aussie hub link will return when Tony VK3JED is back online. Please use the Aussie hub for now. I need sleep. More services will return after I rest. #hamradio #amateurradio

(1/2) 2011 me had a lot to learn. I wasn’t over my ex, was stuck in unhealthy online relationships, and carried a lot of homophobia/transphobia I grew up around. Years of soul-searching later: I came out in 2017, started HRT in 2020, and discovered I’m a pansexual trans woman. Growth is real.

A screenshot of an old post I made on Facebook.

Above the old post, a banner reads
See Your Memories."

The post itself reads

"Kimberly Chantelle Chase
March, 3, 2011

I'm now over my ex. Looking for someone to take her place. Anyone wanna be my girlfriend? Sorry gay guys, i only date females."

Below the post are two buttons labeled "Like" with a thumbs up emoji and "Comment" with a speech bubble emoji.

(1/6) Tonight, several individuals were banned for trolling during our Sea of Thieves session. We also experienced extreme homophobia, transphobia, and other disruptive behavior in-game, all captured live on stream.
