Last week I found my self drinking Sea water...

It is not often that you get to see a ship jacked up on stilts, obviously the Tyne is quite shallow, so most of the stilts are sticking up above the vessel. At the same time it made me realise just how shallow the North Sea where this vessel operates is, as the stilts are only about 50m in length.

The statue is called El Niño, the crouching figure is supposed to be touching the water surface of Lake Constance (Bodensee) but the water level is about 1.5m down at present...
