Whenever I see these remakes with overly detailed redesigns of what should be simple characters, I always think of Yahtzee Croshaw describing War from Darksiders as "if someone sat down, started drawing him and then never fucking stopped."

I know I'm the #1 biggest Aliens hater so it isn't a surprise that I think this, but I feel like even at a conceptual level, the Queen is inherently such a lame idea. It takes away a lot of the mystique of how the aliens work for the sake of just having a big thing to fight at the end of the film.
