Idk what class I was taking at the time (English undergrad) when I made this but apparently I had really strong feelings about academia

Writing academic papers in language that anyone can understand - small brain

Including jargon and complex concepts but explaining what they mean - bigger brain

Not explaining jargon and assuming that readers are already familiar with the field - glowing brain

Completely incomprehensible writing and sentences that require not only expertise but nine dictionaries, five hours, and a linguist - galaxy brain
