Last night I finally made my birthday cake. It's sort of tradition for us to do from scratch cakes. This year I chose a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate glaze, rimmed with chopped peanuts and pecans. It. Was. Perfection. Best cake I've ever had.

My backlist is my whole list. 😅 So here is my lovely trilogy. Wherever books are sold. (But Bookshop supports indie bookstores. Just sayin')

The Royal Heretic was inspired by the Pharoah Akhenahten who changed his kingdom's religion to monotheism. I also wondered how atheism played in a world where the gods were real. This turned into a story about fanaticism and how it hurts everyone. Cover by the awesome @aaronradney.bsky.social

I really don't post enough about my books so here goes. (I'm really shy.) I wrote a trilogy that was born out of my husband finishing all the available GoT books and hungry for more. After a couple of failed starts, I began writing what would become my debut novel, The Royal Heretic.

There's this novel I have outlined that was kinda inspired by Hamilton. I was curious as to what happens to the heroes after a revolution. Then I murdered one of them. Post revolution murder mystery staring a former spy. The Beasts of Gosha was born.
