Done, falling a bit behind in my 'one book a month' target for 2025 but this is the first book I've stuck at for years. It started well, dipped a bit in the middle but finished strongly, 100% deserving of its international acclaim and success. Well worth a read. #KilliansBooks2025

I wouldn't call it sunny but we're getting there. Nice to see a brighter morning after weeks of consistent grey days. There's a little extra pep in this mornings walk, it helps so much with general wellbeing.

Alan Quinlan is such a poor co-commentator. Offers very little insight to what's happening on the pitch and really just calls out what we've all seen. He is incredibly partisan, which is grand, he doesn't hide it, but it does affect the calls he makes, some of which are just plain wrong.

In all my time with a 'physical' bank I've had zero instance of fraud. In the 5yrs with #Revolut I've had 4 - the latest being 7! transfers this morning. Perhaps it's my GenX mistrust of the internet but I don't care if virtual banks are the way forward, they're never getting all my money.

One problem Ireland have now, and it's been a problem in the past, is that in certain positions we now have players that are so good they are creating a cavernous gap between them and their replacements. Porter, JGP are two obvious ones with Doris, Belham and a recovering Sheehan close too #SCOvIRE

There's a very fine line between talking down the mocks as 'not important' to alleviate the stress but at the same time keeping the focus high on the leaving cert and the importance of ploughing ahead for the last 4mths or so. There is no parenting class to learn how to manage this. #SpeirGorm
