At a consignment shop yesterday and saw this gorgeous set of dishes for 4 that I had to have. First "grown up" dishes I’ve purchased. Looked closer at the designer mark and was like wait… ends up they were designed by the same indigenous artist who created the first "grown up" piece of art I bought!

I also have an MCC (medically complex cat) who is a diabetic and the twice daily injections aren't that hard at all once you're comfortable with them! My baby doesn't even notice and we've kept his sugars in check for a year+ now! Their sugars may be wonky but that just means they're extra sweet!!

I learned if you go drop your ballot off at the ballot box an hour before it closes, not only do you get to see a bunch of other civic minded people from your neighborhood doing the same, but there are election workers in vests handing out stickers!

I hate this but feel it's important to share. Seattle folks (especially north) be on the alert for this man who killed a sweet helpless cat. Reward offered and tips desperately needed to catch this monster as we know people who do such a heinous act don't just do it once.

I later drove down to Seattle to volunteer at the mass vaccination effort at Lumen field. Thousands of people showed up to get vaccinated!

My nursing school sent out a text that our partner hospital *might* have some doses to offer us that night and I immediately jumped in my car, drove 40 minutes, got on a ferry, drove 30 more minutes and waited 2 hours to see if I could get one. All worth it because I went home with my first dose!

Idé cost me 1000$ at the vet ED as he puked up a tiny bit of frank blood. All the tests and a day of obs and the vet was like 🤷‍♀️ and recommended a few days of bland diet. After getting home I remembered having to get his face out of a green Thai curry I left unattended for 5 minutes the night before.

This is a pose I like to call “dead cat” that Aiden loves. And he sleeps VERY profoundly (and now may be going deaf in his older age) so there have been a lot of times I get home and have to go check his breathing because shouting “AIDEN” garners no response.

The public restrooms are clearly ruining the district’s historic architectural character which is so well encapsulated by the building the complaint holders own. Clearly the use and enjoyment of said property will be negatively impacted by the atrocious restrooms.
