yippie! do it! i love your art and i'm excited to see more of it hehe :3

it would likely just lead to shame and burning out :c all while the real point is making art and connecting with others! or so i think hehe

but all of us have different circumstances and energy levels at the end of the day, it would also be unfair to push yourself to produce as much as a person who's more available for a challenge like this 🥺

just do it on your own terms! 🙂‍↕️ even if it's just one artwork

i got so worried at first, thank goodness for the websites that tell you if anyone else is experiencing the same issue 😭

It's just a loop, but I like the way you think! Not sure I'd do something like that for the screens though, but it would be a lot of fun to put the camera through TouchDesigner eventually >:3

commission for @ kai-in-disguise on tumblr, their shapeshifter Paris! thank you for commissioning me 💜 #art

digital shoulders-up portrait of a young adult person whose face is emerging from inside another face, which is splitting in the middle and peeling away like a paper cocoon. the person's "real" face is lean, with light warm-toned freckled skin. his facial features are naturally slightly asymmetric, and he has straight brown hair, the long bangs framing the cheeks. a port wine stain covers part of his nose and eye on the left side of his face. the 'cocoon' face has paler cooler-toned skin, shorter wavy black hair and similar facial features, but they appear to be changed slightly: he has a wider more chiseled jaw, a straight nose and perfectly symmetric features overall. both faces have a five-o'clock shadow, violet eyes and are wearing smudged eyeliner - dark brown on the "real" face and black on the "cocoon". the split in the face is ending around the clavicles, two strings of pearls and a white shirt collar framing the neck. the emerging face is wearing a slight smile on his face, looking at the viewer, while the "cocoon" has a neutral expression.

Recently I decided to get into streaming as a way to socialize while I'm painting. But first I had to learn motion design and how to use Cavalry to make the screens you only see for a couple of minutes at a time lol 😩 But look, I did it!! And it was fun! You can see it live on twitch: kikistrim 😈

Same is happening to David Revoy. I've been watching his Krita tutorials all the way back in 2015 when I just started my art journey. He always posts his art under CC BY license, and ig that's why OpenAI ripped off his particular style. So now people assume his art is generated. It's heartbreaking.

THIS! Some hope for my fellow creatives and people wanting to start expressing themselves creatively, but feeling crushed by the uncertainty brought by AI. AI is a tool, it will never replace skill, good taste and authentic heart 💖
