My bestie's son, my nephew, is moving out of state next weekend. Tonight, we threw a surprise going away party for him. The fact that we were able to do this and no one tipped him off in the month leading up to it will go down as legend.

Hello, friends. As I may have mentioned, my dad has been ill for the past couple of years. The illnesses and treatments took their toll and his heart decided it had enough. He passed away a little after midnight. Not unexpected, but still hard. He was ready. I'm gonna be sad for a bit.
