I was recording an Elden Ring walkthrough for fun and kind of just gave up on it since the videos weren't getting any views, and someone posted on my last episode "Where's the next one?" And now I feel terrible lol.

If you are interested in beta testing Tomestone's upcoming detailed activity view, let me know your claimed character on Tomestone. Thanks. If you don't want to just link your character in public on Twitter, you can get on the Tomestone Discord and ask that way.

And yeah, the bosses in Khazan are just so good. Trokka was a fantastic boss.

Kihra @kihra.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Whew, beat Trokka. Took me about 90 minutes overall (so Viper is still the boss that has taken me the longest). Very different fight for a Greatsword player with Chaos-Ridden set who wants to brink guard. You spend most of the fight being forced to brink dodge instead.

Tomestone progression activity graphs will now show the last mechanic reached for each pull in the tooltip along with the boss %: You can re-export logs if you want to get mechanics added to the graph. This isn't retroactive, since this is new data FFLogs has to cache and send.

Kihra @kihra.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Tomestone going forward will track the latest mechanic reached in addition to the prog %. You can see it in the tooltip when you hover the prog point.

Back home now with temporary crowns in place. Glad that's over. I'm so scared of the dentist, man.

One thing that might have slipped under the radar a bit was our little April 1st tease of a possible "Report Assistant" feature that internally we've been calling KihraGPT. (the joke being that we need to transform @kihra.bsky.social into an AI bot before we let him retire!)

For anyone struggling on Aratra in Khazan, you can put on the Bard set and farm the big spider near the boss blade nexus until you have 3pc Forgotten Warrior set for 250 Poison Resist. Equip Neck/Ring resist also, and the boss won't be able to poison you.

Tomestone's ad revenue for the first five days of April. Liking this trajectory lol.

Tomestone's traffic has more than doubled since Savage came out. Pretty crazy. Didn't think it would get used so much for Savage, but I guess there actually are some hard PF walls this tier.

Greatsword is just so underpowered compared to Spear and Dual Wield. (Khazan.)

Kihra @kihra.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Really have no idea what to do against this boss. Seems to be the most anti-greatsword boss so far. Can't stagger her or stop anything she does, so can't chain anything.

Kihra @kihra.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Hard stuck on Elamain, so no Khazan videos today lol. Easily the hardest boss so far.

Kihra @kihra.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

I actually don't see myself replaying Khazan with different weapons after I finish. It's just too exhausting. Will probably move on to AI Limit after finishing the game (if I even do).

I was recording the next episode of the walkthrough that ended with Rangkus, and he took me forever to re-kill. I think playing Greatsword is like playing on Hard Mode sometimes lol.

PSA, tons of the Khazan bonus training objectives will bug out until you restart the game. If you find it not completing when you did everything right, completely quit out and restart the game, and then challenge the enemy again. Pincer Spider and Wild Bear two good examples.
