Haven’t been doing much crochet, but a friend commissioned a yarn bomb of dragon scales in Rainbow for a dragon shaped tree. More details on Ravelry under my projects. Same name. This is only the first of three sets of panels.

A fallen tree trunk looks like an earth dragon. I am doing a commission to coat it (yarn bomb) in rainbow dragon scales. This is the first of three sets of panels.
I used Caron Anniversery and Jelly roll cakes in size 6 yarn. More detail on my ravelry account.

/1 No Kings. Dang, I wanted to go to it, so very badly! The weird part is that it is being held a scant mile from my home. I can't walk a mile. We've been tracking my endurance. For the woman who gladly strode along at 4mph for years, walked 5-6 miles a day; it's really really annoying.

For my health, I walk in Titlow Park. My "payoff" are the creatures I photograph. Today I caught one of the nesting Eagle. Later on the little dock I saw this Warrior, harassed by crows. It's NOT one of the nesting Eagles. I've never seen this one before. It isn't giving in.

An old and battered Eagle sits by the sea. And even buzz-bombing him crows can't get him to move.

So why did I hate it? Because it isn't time travel like the blurbs say. It's somebody who screwed up and couldn't take the heat and lost her mind; was (gaslit?) by her husband and two kids for years. The "redemption" at the end of the book didn't redeem anything. The kids payed the steepest price.

#CrochetCreations Thought I’d lost my red resistance hat at the last “No Kings” rally. Alicia Hathorne posted a ribbed pattern that looked really good. She made it up herself and I loved it. She was kind enough to share her pattern with me. It took two days, but I did finish it.

Bad Bunny needs to wear a blue, lop-eared bunny hat. I can't think of anything stronger or more powerful for him to do to remind people that young "Conejo" has been sprung, but 15,000 more kids are in those prisons, facing measles as well as dirt, abuse, bad food, bad water and no hygiene.
