Earlier this week Xbox revealed that it had a big reshuffle of its internal studios and that the acclaimed Rare will now be under and reporting to Activision. The Game Business is reporting that the move has sparked a few cuts to Rare’s central operations team. However, as expected, Rare is currently working on other projects besides Sea of Thieves. Whether these will be multiplatform remains to be seen.

Pokemon Champions has not launched in the way that The Pokemon Company would have hoped as numerous issues have been found with the game and it's a clear case of the game needing more time in the oven before launching. Thankfully the development team are aware of the issues and have apologised and said that fixes are on the way. It should be noted that they have had only listed a small number of bugs with the full number currently unknown.
