This simple exchange between Cooper and Denise changed the way I thought about transgender people. I didn't know the word "transgender" at the time, just "cross-dresser" unfortunately, but in one fell swoop, I learned to just accept folks with ease. David Lynch did this. 1/4

Rewatched ‘Freejack’ (1992).I was feeling sad about stuff in life, needed something to entertain me in a fun way, and this rewatch totally fit the bill. Freejack is gloriously not good. Watched the Irish film ‘Black ‘47’ (Dir. Lance Daly, 2018). Imagine Death Wish took place in Connemara during the mid-19th century. Instead of muggers you’ve got stock British villains. Sprinkle in some Western vibes and fantastic actors. Boom, you have Black ‘47. 1/5
