Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 02/10/2026If you buy an Ultraman Leo figure you have to throw it in the dirt a couple of times so it'll look show accurate 030
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 02/10/2026My whole life I've thought Moles are way bigger than they actually are, but apparently they're around the same size as rats which goes against everything I thought I knew about the world 140

Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 28/09/2026With the inconsistencies in whether Yapool is portrayed as a whole race or as a singular individual I would like to offer my head canon that Yapool is something like a sapient extradimensional Siphonophore 010

Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I love how fucking weird Bodyroba is compared to the prior kaiju in Teo being mostly animalistic. I like when they draw this very big distinction between earth kaiju and space kaiju with the space kaiju's tending to be way more out there with their designs 0249

Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I'm of the opinion that Gairyuga should have been the final kaiju of Ultraman Omega, it's so cool and really felt like a big threat when it appeared and it getting killed offscreen was lame. Zomera just didn't have the same impact because it's a combination of two earlier kaiju 040
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 21/09/2026It's been a good month for really weird kaiju that feel like they come from mid 70s Ultraman 295
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Zero's demeanor in Ultraman Teo has a very similar vibe to when Zoffy would appear in Ultraman Ace imo, It does a very good job at showing how much he has grown and matured since his introduction while also still feeling like the same character and retaining that cockiness 040
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 21/09/2026boxd.it/gqe5gDboxd.itA ★★★★ review of Weapons (2025)Really good but the constant switching of perspective kinda slows the pace down a lot and half the perspectives that get switched to seem really pointless, I definitely prefer Barbarian 000
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 20/09/2026People responding to this bringing up how there's also murder and kidnapping and other serious things in Kamen Rider are missing the point. I'm not saying there are no serious topics in Kamen Rider, I'm saying that these serious things are presented in a kid friendly way 040
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Certain Kamen Rider fans bringing up Gavv being about "a drug cartel" to prove that the franchise isn't for kids is so funny because they always conveniently leave out the fact that the drugs in question are evil candy 271
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Another reason to vote Minacias is because it's backstory fits perfectly with the thematic roots of the Godzilla franchise, being a weapon that destroyed a whole civilization. Also it originally being peaceful before being turned into a weapon mirrors Godzilla's mutation 063
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 17/09/2026VOTE MINACIAS SO WE CAN HAVE A COOL ASS MECHA KIRIN KAIJU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 094
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Minacias and Sagius feel like they would fit together in the same movie where the creation of Sagius would awaken Minacias and there would be a crazy 1v1v1 with them and Godzilla 043

Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 02/09/2026If a character has a gun then it makes sense to wonder why they aren't using it but some people are out here acting like a martial arts master who has shown no indication of being skilled with guns not using a gun is somehow a flaw 240

Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 26/08/2026I've been watching Warrior and I quite like it but the lighting in a lot of the fight scenes is really dark, It's hard to tell what's going on especially when most of the characters are wearing dark suits, which is a shame because the choreography itself is good 110
Donny @kidonny.bsky.social · 18/08/2026I really appreciate the costuming in Blades of the Guardians, it makes it easy to immediately tell the characters apart in these complicated fights which allows you to have all your attention on the beautiful choreography rather than spending half the fight figuring out who’s who 000
