In my humble work The Origin of Xia and Shang, I have verified in detail that Dragon (龍) = Lugal 𒈗 = King = Great Man. In the Shang Dynasty, the "dragon" referred strictly to the Shang kings and the royal family, not some monster. x.com/Kidai_0001/s...
