adopted old twitter feel for status pages too!

great to hear that you feel that way, it still needs some polishing but it looks fine overall

been feeling nostalgic lately so kibun’s starting to look a little more like early twitter 🤠

implemented firehose (s/o @microcosm.blue) which means it’s finally ingesting all the records for the kibun lexicons. it’s a lot more at-compliant now, and you can actually build your own app frontends on top of it if you want to play around 🥳

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 30/11/2025

hopefully it is now. implemented firehose too

030

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 30/11/2025

i've added firehose support via microcosm, so it now ingest all kibun records

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 30/11/2025

gonna tweak a few things. i’ve actually been working on switching to microcosm, so it should be ready later today

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 28/11/2025

just so you know, you can comment on statuses now if you feel like it 😌 i will be adding notifications as well down the line

060

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 27/11/2025

should i add replies to statuses, or is it better to keep things minimal like they are now? 👀

230

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 26/11/2025

you can now get a direct link to your statuses on kibun. each status has its own permalink, and there's a share to bluesky button on every status page. also beautiful og images for statuses link previews are coming later today

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 25/11/2025

hmmm that's weird. i will take a look at it later today

010

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 25/11/2025

this is unacceptable!! you should not forget kibun ever lol

110

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 25/11/2025

actually some emojis are made of multiple unicodes for like skin tones, flags, etc. so there is a check that only allows up to four glyphs to cover those cases to prevent people from abusing it. so can't say a really a bug but yeah

100

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 25/11/2025

btw, you can now cross post your status updates straight to Bluesky 🦋

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 24/11/2025

hi 🤗 kibun is an atproto alternative for status cafe if you'd like to give it a go

010

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 24/11/2025

if you want a more decentralized version of status.cafe, check out kibun.social 🤗 all your statuses are yours forever, stored right under your bluesky account

000

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 24/11/2025

added this. can you check now?

100

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 23/11/2025

Yes!!! This is perfect. I knew someone gonna do this sooner or later ☺🙌

010

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 22/11/2025

thanks, it should be fixed

020

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 22/11/2025

that’s what i tried, but it says the handle is already in use by another account. i can’t even change the handle on the old account without verifying it first.

100

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 22/11/2025

thanks, actually i had previously made an account with the domain as my handle, but the verification email never came through so the domain is stuck on that account for now 😔 i'll give it another try in a few days

120

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 22/11/2025

oops! it should show the icon on ios now

230

kibun (気分) @kibun.social · 22/11/2025

thank you!! kibun already has a favicon, so i guess pdsls needs a little more time to pick it up

🌿 introducing kibun.social 🌿 kibun (気分) means "mood" in Japanese, and that’s exactly the vibe: no pressure, no performance. just a cozy space to write whatever’s on your mind. whether it’s a passing thought, a feeling you can’t explain, or a moment you want to capture - drop it in and let it live.
