worked up the courage to try watercolors again to redo my previous card to compare which I liked more. I give credit to @autumnflameart.bsky.social for helping me figure out how to do watercolors, thank you! :) #mtg

I still have more cards to draw for ragost, but for my next project, I came up with the idea of coloring the cards for a change. I pulled out some colored pencils to give the commander a try, and MAN, it's peam. #mtg

context: a stupid hypothetical involving a friend facing off opponents in mtg duels, getting deeper into the scientology building like an episode of yuguioh cw: Tom Cruise

Ragost (part 8) #mtg In my excitement, I made "Eaten by a Darksteel Oyster" after making the knife. Only to realize afterwards, the card doesn't actually fit the vibe of the deck... <-< I'll likely just swap it out later for something else, I have no shortage of cards I wanna draw afterall

Despite my refusal to do their age verification, for some reason, Bluesky has given up and gave me access again. In other news, I've been drawing more mtg cards again. The commander is Ragost, Deft Gastronaut, and I'm theming all the cards around food and the antics of a poorly run restaurant #mtg

it's been awhile, but I remember struggling to figure out how to apply it (which I could just search online how) but also my art style is very focused on linework, which hasn't translated well into any sort of painting >->; (cw: there is blood in the example below)

#mtg with this last set of cards done, I think this it'll be the last set of cards I make for awhile... At least until the craving for more cards comes back

First card I've drawn with a human in the art box. Didn't have high hopes for it, as I suck at drawing human faces, but it turned out pretty well. #mtg

The dopamine I get from finishing the art for these cards hits twice as hard, because it stacks on top of the dopamine I get from adding a new card to my deck genuinely might be addicted to this #mtg

Finally back to making proxies again. These are quite rusty compared to the ones I made before, but I think it'll pick back up again once I practice some more. #mtg
