Anyway, I'm still printing the final cake piece and I think there's about 3 hours left on it. Going to need to sand the right side. The left side was the piece I printed differently due to not having adjusted the configuration initially (used more filament than I should have) #kiacrafts

four pieces of the cake body, technically assembled

view from the top, showing that the left and right sides are different since the slicer program's auto button was messing up the orientation. Ugh. Mistakes were mostly made with the left piece.

Another update: Cherry has been printed in two colors because the original red was used up halfway through so I switched to true red

Cherry being finished in the printer with 12 minutes left

I originally bought a different red filament, thinking I didn't have enough for the red flower and the cherry but the flower printed well! Hopefully I have enough for the cherry :) #kiacrafts

More stuff printed, this time a red flower!

Also, I'm making this prop for my brother as a way to thank him for dogsitting while Silver and I've been out of town for conventions and I figured that since I've made three of my own weapon props, my brother should have a really fun one of his own. And it had to be this one specifically.

Just two badasses on a bicycle with Alpha, a chocobo.

Greg with his cake/fork (usual WHM glam)

Doing YST/YSST art for halloween-- the prompts I was given for yesterday: Carmel Apple and Crawlspace So I fused the two :D Naaza and Anubisu managed to find a mysterious crawlspace in Arago's castle and resurfaced in Rajura's room with carmel apples. Rajura is not amused. #kiaart

screenshot from pvp with names:
Kiandra Kankaw (yours truly), Malewife Materia, Doon Ay, Detroit Smash, Health Care, Freya Highwind, Biru Mason, Nire Min. There are 5 machinists in the party, including me.

(from 2022) I think I fought Zodiark several more times after that after realizing that I was missing a spell I needed to beat him. I used an item that was basically the same thing as the spell... and won by the skin of my teeth.

I finished all the hunts and kidnapped Ultima
I'm already level 99
Zodiark just humilated me twice on level 99

Kiandra Kankaw> took too long and got one hoard
(the game tells me that I have one sack that got exchanged for 1 red brightlily corsage and it was added to my inventory)
Kiandra Kankaw> aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand not a goddamn card

I had the insane idea to build my brother ( @libraryguygreg.bsky.social ) a FFXIV weapon prop only to discover that there is *no* 3d print of the said prop in question. Crap.

FFXIV weapon for White Mage: Figment of Sweetness which is a giant silver three tines fork with a piece of white cake slice on top. At the bottom, there's a detail that has red and blue lilies with maybe silver leaves.

What a stupid title too! Maybe if the fucking dingdong poster ever had taken time to speak to an actual deaf person to understand *why* the closed captions needed to describe audio indicators. Just seeing the action isn't 100% enough, there are subtle things we'd never pick up on!

alt title: Does Disney+ think deaf people are blind too?
