I'm James Hinton. I'm a freelance 2D animator looking for professional work. I create frame-by-frame hand drawn animations. This is my Patreon: patreon.com/Khyzan My youtube channel: www.youtube.com/@khyzan8527 #portfoliday

I'd love to know what it's like to work with a team of animators. I'm not the most social, but working alone tends to get too lonely.

000

Throwing hands is Buttercups favorite color.

000

Man, I've played Une vie à t'aimer on repeat for hours while I animate.

In all honesty, i'm sick of the "insert famous song to the beat of the trailer" type trailers. I like the stuff from the movie itself to be what hooks me, not the 3rd party addition. Give me the Star Wars 7 reveal trailer again.

I don't see why it couldn't be the original voice actor. Sick of the trend of just replacing the already perfectly good voices with more famous celebrities.

Good looking trailer aside, I'm sick of the trend of remixing a popular song to the beat of the trailer. Just use music from the movie itself. Movie still looks pretty good.

Some Xenoblade Chronicles fanart i did a while ago.

The Perfect Pear blindsided me, easily the best episode in my opinion.

Oh, so voiced by a woman, but not a woman in story, i get it.

100

Wait, i heard Aslan is female in this, and the poster is a lion with a mane.

Star Fox Remake needed to prioritize this.

I've internalized calling it "the stupid draft", because even the stupidest stories could be re-written to be good.

I've stopped asking for help and have just simply gone insane from things crashing in around me, and those people give me help any way. My problems never stop, and I know i'll bring them down too eventually. I'm still trying to figure this problem out.

Seeing his iconic maniacal laughter freakouts as he hightails it down the many infinite hallways would be a sight to see.

@gooseworx.bsky.social I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday! I'm a big fan of your work, especially Elain The Bounty Hunter.

I hope this isn't a fucking excuse for the US to go to war with Ukraine. "We need their fuel, and Ukraine is hurting that option."

I'm sadly not in a good position to do any unpaid work. I would say yes if I had the time, but even gathering the time for commissions has been quite the challenge. I do appreciate you reaching out though.

Public executions are literally returning.

000

I caught a brief glimpse of the words Pentagon and livestream with a split second view of the thumbnail before the page refreshed, and I thought "wtf, they weren't announcing an execution livestream right???" Then I saw this post. Just when i thought they couldn't get more insane.

000

*two things that never get old.

I know I'm referring to a different type of assault, but i see the same type of denial in both.

031

I worked with an elderly man who admits to being beaten by his dad to the point of leaving marks, but doesn't see the possible connection why the government tried to separate him from them. He advocates for spanking your kids because his "turned out fine". All i see is a sad cycle he is blind to.

To be fair, drawing breasts on a reptilian anthro is just increasing the amount of human details they have, where as neither humans nor rabbits have foot pads. I, however, will support any artistic liberty you choose to make.

000

This is what i thought I saw for a second.

000

They fail to realize how good you'd look in a Sailor Moon cosplay.

030

I was given this stuffy immediately after I was born, and I kept him ever since for 32 years.

020

I saw a ghostly head staring at you from the table at first. Thought you just gave the local eldritch abomination a silly name.

000

Their art grant would fulfill the hole in my life perfectly. I hope one day it comes around to everyone.

I had a elderly co-worker openly say his dad "wasn't a bad guy even though he beat my ass". He also hates anything related to child protective service because he was taken away from his family for "no reason at all". I implied a possible connection with physical abuse, and he just said "Nah".

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I never get why people say it was boring. It definitely takes it's times, but I was engaged the whole time.

Because 1 (1/2) isn't the same is 1/2. One and a half is not one half.

I'm new to this. what's vibe coded?

Boy was that a year for me... 2016 is what radicalized me to hate feminism, i watched critical drinker, the quartering, and geeks and gamers make fun of the star wars sequels and blamed feminism. Eventually, i realized how insane and wrong they are. Now I go to pride events and enjoy "woke" movies.

Regardless, if it is DLSS 5 type stuff, I don't want it. I want my games to run smoother rather than look photorealistic or fake the inbetween frames.

Maaan, two artists I follow are suffering from kidney stones. Natalie De Corsair is suffering from the same thing. I wish for a speedy recovery for you.

I heard he was inspired by Let Me Solo Her. Pretty awesome if so.

Something I forgot to post a long time ago. #totodile #pokemon

Wow, those vhs ads bring back SO many memories. I had that Pooh Interactive game when I was a kid.

Any Xenoblade appreciation makes me happy.

Why can't my home do such things? I'm dying for the ability to put more work into animation...

Khyzan @khyzan.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

What kind of timeline is this even??

Could someone fill me in one what the animation community is doing? If we're talking about the animation industry being how it is, everyone losing their jobs and no one hiring, then I get it. My animations never gaining a following and companies never hiring is a growing sore spot for me tbh.
