Looks like Judge Amit Mehta is thoroughly fed up of the #USvGoogle remedy trial. Just before Sundar Pichai was called to the stand as a witness, the judge said to his court staff, "Can't believe we did 9 weeks of this last time." 😂😂 Erm, judge? It was 10 weeks, not nine.

Over the past 24 hours, former FTC commissioner Josh Wright settled a defamation lawsuit against Elyse Dorsey and dropped the same claims against Angela Landry (both former students/colleagues had accused him of sexual misconduct in 2023). A March 10 trial in Fairfax has been shelved.

We now have a trial date for DOJ’s adtech #monopoly lawsuit against @Google in the “rocket docket” of Eastern District of Virginia. Sept 9, 2024. Six months later, on March 31, 2025, a @TXAG led #antitrust adtech suit v Google will go to trial in Texas (also a rocket docket).
