While the US government runs a shock and awe campaign on its own citizens, it’s falling behind other countries in tech. China’s battery and factory outreach is part of a larger strategy, I’m sure.

A screenshot from the wired article that was reposted. The highlighted text reads: ““Made in China” used to be—and still often is—a label for cheap labor, knockoffs, and $5 gadgets. Now it also means state-of-the-art technology assembled anywhere in the world.”

Not my house, but I know my way around

An image, snagged from the internet because the person posting didn’t feel as though they could get up to get to their screenshots folder on their pc. Within the image a character looks out of over a lobby with an open staircase and grey walls with seemingly purposeless windows. The architecture in the Oldest House isn’t exactly threatening, but it’s not quite welcoming. This image is from the video game titled “Control”.

It’s not April Fools, HBO. Did they finally realize that “Max” wasn’t connected to HBO, the name that had been recognizable for decades?? Some kind of tax evasion strat??

More art, this one outside the MoMA, and across the street.

Every so often I see a collection of stickers on a car that clearly defines the driver’s insecurities. I’m not throwing shade, but I do find it intriguing.

An image showing multiple stickers on the back window of a jeep-like vehicle. The stickers range from “alpha” to “gentleman as not gentle man” , while having a supporting the police license plate on their car.

Part of me hopes they do more releases this way, part of me was annoyed that in-game I had finished the dexes by importing from Pokemon Home to the games. Like, BDSP giveaway would be rough.
