Super super pleased because this one was a one-and-done ordering situation; this was the only size they had in stock in any color I liked so if it didn't fit it was game over for this particular sweatshirt. The other one I'll have the option to exchange for a different size if it doesn't fit right.

I ordered 2 crew-neck sweatshirts and the first one arrived today and fits REALLY nicely!! Bc of my shape it doesn't quite have the same shoulder-emphasizing androgynous silhouette as it did on the models, HOWEVER the top-heavy cut means I have 100% complete comfort in the chest which is amazing.

GP also gave me the actual results of my x-ray which is nice. Rheum sent me a letter that vaguely touched on it but I was supposed to have the ultrasound and *then* my follow-up appointment to discuss both so I didn't actually know more than "some irregularities" until now lol.

I actually went to my GP today and asked HIM to rattle rheumatology too. He said ultrasound is working with like a 6 month wait for non-urgent appointments, but my appointment was supposed to be put through as urgent because I've already been waiting over a year for it, so... hopefully soon.

Really pleased that oversized clothing is in fashion right now. I was dreading choosing between correct length and comfortable width as I pick up the extra bits I'll need for my upcoming trip to the States, but it looks like I may not have to for once.

I called idk a month? Two months? Ago and they said omg oops!! The doctor says he's really sorry 🥺 We'll put in for it urgently! Meanwhile I've recently regained the ability to open my mouth almost fully, but only if I do it a certain way, and it still hurts.

Need someone to come rattle rheumatology for me. I've been waiting a year and a half for an *ultrasound* because somehow I keep falling through the cracks and they keep forgetting to schedule it. My joints are going to fall off at this point.

- Overall I'd say maybe 6-7/10. There are a lot of things I liked about it and I admittedly do like to focus on things I like, but parts of the writing are still holding it back. It's somewhere around ST3-4 to me where it's fun to watch but I still have to watch around the parts I don't like.

- I basically view this show as canon divergent, and I wish they would consider biting the bullet & making it deliberately divergent rather than half-pretending it still makes sense after this for Max to have to explain "there's more to life than stupid boys" to El in ST3.

- The set-ups and pay-offs were mostly satisfying but some of the set-ups were soooooo super clunky and didn't feel well integrated/natural, which made the first episodes kind of rough. - I feel like the voice acting was better this season, or maybe I'm just used to the voice actors now.

- It's still much less grounded in realism than the first two seasons of the show (I don't mind personally; it's a cartoon), but I thought this season did a better job of giving the action sequences tension and strategy than the first season. I really enjoyed Max v. bikes.

- Some areas of the pacing were better than S1 because they weren't trying to introduce new characters and their stories (WHEW), but I would have liked a little more breathing room after they beat the big bad. - Some really engaging and interesting visuals/shots, more than I remember from S1

- I couldn't shake the feeling that Charlie is almost like a wish fulfillment Billy-a-like character, considering his model design and the antagonist-to-ally plotline that felt weirdly set up and undelivered when Billy was left alone in the Byers house with a dead demodog at the end of ST2.

- A little redundant in *some* parts with other areas of ST canon, particularly Charlie's "maligned family unfairly treated by police, parent figure roping child figure into doing crime together" intro which was pretty much ripped wholesale from Eddie's tie-in book. I'm willing to overlook it.

Thoughts about season 2 of the Stranger Things cartoon, in no order: - Still very successful at being "a Stranger Things cartoon" to me - Better plot concept than S1, and I really liked that it felt like it was going out of its way to not just repeat the original show's usual plot structures

I could maybe find a pick n mix and buy (1) candy but I don't know how the pricing structure works beyond pay by weight. Like do I have to pay for a cup? Is there a minimum spend that would incentivize me to obtain more candy than I actually want to eat? Topics for research.

Regulation idea: all companies that produce ready to eat food products should be required to offer* a single serving option. If a serving of Oreos is 3 Oreos it should be possible to buy just 3 Oreos. *Meaningfully offer to consumers, not like "you can buy a box of 60 packs not for resale"

Really proud of how this is coming along. WAY back in the day, Build-A-Bear used to put imagery of both the icons and the discs on their product pages, but they don't do either anymore, so I have to take or source photos of everything and manually edit them to accurately represent color etc.

Growing up in the US, my idea of timescale was really defined by the age of the country, which is by this point old enough to form a reference point for "old" for children. Now that I live in the UK my local fair is about twice as old as the country I grew up in.

I'm still a little bit fiddling with how to stylize them because I'm picky about bears so they end up being more "high-fidelity" than my wolves lol, but it's been fun to be forced to figure it out because they're not background characters or one-time NPCs.
