Planning out every last detail of a filming shoot may seem daunting. Just know that you can always break it down into parts and pieces. Just like anything in #life It’s always more manageable one step at a time. Chunk things by character and locale to optimize work flow for your shorts #filming

#khux #kingdomhearts So in real time I’m usually working on more than one project at a time. That way as one cures/dries, I can change gears and work on another In tandem with Ava’s #keyblade I’ve also been reforging Ephemer’s Starlight Sp I am happy to say that I just finished it So here’s wips

010

Book of Dawn @khbookofdawn.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

#khux #kingdomhearts Reforging Ava’s #keyblade Giving Foxtrot its Color is so sooo very satisfying. Using Gold and White tinted Blue instead of Yellow and Sky Blue is so much more true to game. Plus once I added the pink it really popped! Especially since I used a color shift paint pink/gold 💯💋🤌

I have kept working in the #craftingdimension but I can’t deny that it’s been hard not to feel trapped in a miasma of awfulness with every bright face I’ve seen leave this earth in the past few weeks. From Kairi, to Optimus. Loosing Dolly and Tim It’s too much for any one person to bear Continued..

Book of Dawn @khbookofdawn.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

#khux #crafting The reforging continues with Foxtrot I never made a 3d clay animal face to cast in resin.. so now I am! And only to realize my air dry clay had dried out to. I salvaged it sort of but I really should have just bought new clay to work with. But you live and learn

So I ran out of Plastidip and forgot to buy more… #crafting woes #khux #kingdomhearts In the process of making Ava’s #keyblade I have started an experiment to see if I can rehydrate partially dried air dry clay I cut it into tiny pieces and am soaking the shreds in water overnight

I can breathe now, I see the light at the end of the tunnel #crafting a #keyblade This is Foxtrot Master Ava’s key & by far the most drastic reforge of any of the keys I’ve done. But I think I’m finally happy with it and maybe I’ll be ready to paint this weekend if not tomorrow #khux #kingdomhearts

An illustration of Kairi and Xion from Kingdom Hearts. They lean on each other in a field of flowers that represent them (Kairi's heart piece, and aster flowers for Xion) while their respected keyblades stand beside them. The kingdom hearts moon iconography is drawn right behind them.
