My eldest made this cute ass lil ghost family to decorate with for Halloween. I love them so much. They're adorable. He gave the momma ghost a cup of coffee, too 🥹

I finally got around to repotting my aloe that I've had for 12 years now. They've been living contently in a shallow dish all this time & have been creeping their way out, so I figured it was time to give them a new home with more space. I stg, if they die after this, I'll never forgive myself.

My partner and I went out for the first time in forever to go to his class reunion, so of course, I had to get dressed up (my version of it, at least, lol) At least I got to wear my spooky earrings!

We went out to eat to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and they gave out free chocolate cake and roses to all the moms. 😭

Kazem is a good man who is working so hard to take care of his parents and siblings. He's been injured multiple times already, and he really just needs a break. Three years of surviving a genocide. I can't imagine the toll it's taking on him.

Whatsapp exchange with Kazem from Gaza. He says, "Please, my friend, don't leave me alone. Yesterday, the rat almost bit Sarah. She remained terrified and crying throughout the night. I have already started building the shelter. But everything here is expensive due to the lack of resources. The crossings are closed and everything around is closed. The construction of the shelter requires iron and coverings that cost no less than two thousand dollars. I work day and night, but to no avail. I'm so fed up. 😭" Then I respond with, "Oh, Kazem!"

I still think it's wild that my husband builds an entire haunted house and graveyard each Halloween.

Leave it to me to take the shakiest video ever, but the man getting arrested punched a woman & a man in the face. Both were peaceful protestors, & he came up, yelling at them to go away. He punched the woman, & then the man, and he looked genuinely surprised that we weren't going to let him leave.

The kids and I went to our local May Day protest. We weren't able to stay long, and it wasn't a huge turnout, but I'm glad we went. The biggest disappointments were all of the trucks that drove by, intentionally speeding up and swerving at us while flipping us off. #MayDay #ImpeachTrump
