Have also started working on REformatting the printable version of the core rulebook due to technical issues that cropped up. In the process of doing so, I'm also doing a little bit of reorganizing in both the print and PDF formats for internal consistency to make a little more sense.

#gamedev EOM update: made some minor but important tweaks to TRIAD to allow for limited power scaling without purpose building into it (so that those abilities don't feel as much like "must takes"). #ttrpg Fall quarter has started so I'm back into college full time, dev will have to take a back seat

Star Wars: Zero Company is *almost* the kind of game we aspire to one day make. The character writing is great, the gameplay is solid. The main things it is missing are greater narrative choice and exploration, ie the things that would take it from a strategy game to a tactics RPG, imo.

#ttrpg #gamedev update: minor tweaks to our core rulebook (added another gorgon subspecies), threw together a presentation to potentially serve as a pitch (video in the future), and slowly working our way through plotting out which art assets are needed and to prioritize.

Realized I've never posted examples of my artwork to this account. At least those that are relevant to my #ttrpg #gamedev. I quite enjoy drawing fantasy weapons and maps, need to get myself to practice more with humanoids and other creatures.

As for my own #gamedev work: I finished reformatting the core rulebook of the TRIAD #ttrpg! Now need to populate it with art and finish essential supplemental materials before I'll feel confident releasing to the public. Unfortunately, I'm back in college so I have even less time and energy for art😥

Finally getting back to work on reformatting the TRIAD rulebook for printing. The change in page size screwed up all of the item tables and trying to resize them to fit was frustrating me to the point I stopped working on it. Now just deleting them, remaking, and copying the data back over. #gamedev

The Sevenfold Paths in our TRIAD tabletop roleplaying game. The Paths of Pure Form, Pure Mind, and Pure Spirit focus on single Facets of the TRIAD. The Path of Mortality is Form+Spirit, Path of Substance is Form+Mind, and Path of Enlightenment is Mind+Spirit. The Path of Balance is all three.

When I started bringing on test readers for my system, one question I got was why world lore is the 1st chapter before any rules. I explained that GM's need to have a basis for adventure writing and players need info to pull from for their characters' backgrounds and beliefs. #ttrpg #fantasy

Finally figured out how I want to structure my planned P.I. video game. I'd been going back & forth on full city vs map w/points of interest. Once the TTRPG's core rulebook is released, I'll be introducing some long-term supporter rewards. I believe contributions should be worth something. Ko-fi donor rewards will be things like discounts on future releases or chances to contribute to developing the world of Dynos.
