The most frustrating thing about the @mbta.com's system for displaying bus arrivals is how it gaslights poor riders into believing the bus is on its way, and then simply restarts the clock after the window has passed. It is a system that only reminds you what SHOULD happen, not what IS happening.

It's been a while since I worked in City Hall but I'm still prettttyyyy sure you have to get a permit to close off access to a street. Almost totally sure. 0.001% still up for grabs because sometimes it feels like the whole place is first come first serve for making life more annoying.
