my work in progress, now this one I'm having so much fun with!

so this is a pixel art thing I'm in the middle of; this is a screenshot of my Krita where I'm showing my work in progress.
I'm kind of building a miniature city or settlement that is found inside a hollow tree
it's not finished, you can see vines with flowers growing on the top and I added a little mine where the townspeople mine stone to build their tiny houses :3

taking a break from the other artwork to make this empty tree stump.

I don't know where this is going anymore but it's going

screenshot of my Krita showing off that a little more progress has been made on this pixel artwork thing I've been making. I looked more and more at sources, mostly petri dishes of bacteria and other cultures

work in progress is...progressing

work in progress screenshot of my Krita showing my pixel art madness. The "infections" are battling each other while leaving the central nucleus alone, which is protected by a sort of barrier. I mean, I guess that's what it all looks like now that I'm looking at it.

okayyyy so my lava butthole thing has sort of naturally transformed! Don't ask me where this is going because, well, I don't know!!

screenshot of my latest pixel art artwork I'm drawing in Krita which has turned into a sort of.........spherical thing in the center of a black background and there's like, patches of disease growing around it a little? this is a work in progress and it's changed a lot since last time.

"blah blah blah I wanna make pixel space art" wellllll this is where that ended up going. I began with an idea of a rainbow nebula or something but, well, it took another direction ok?!

a screenshot of my current work in progress pixel art that is mostly shades of red on a plain black background. There are 3 jagged concentric circles towards the middle, and the beginnings of some glitchy red designs on a couple of corners.

my newest creation I'm enjoying experimenting with textures and patterns in pixel art

pixel artwork in hues of orange that sort of looks like either slow dripping orange creamsicle or maybe like a topographical map. I use a lot of individual dots, trails, and a few stars

what I'm doin this Sunday :3

a screenshot of Krita showing that I am working on a pixel art image that looks like maybe a wave or a slow drip in orange colours

sharing my pixel art beginnings...again LOL I really am so obsessed with the limitations AND freedom that comes with pixel art.

pixel art of some kind of weird astronaut

pixel art of a forest queen/druidic figure

pixel art of an interior space with columns, kind of inspired by a mosque

Okay so I love the style and quality of my @parkenharbor.bsky.social merch??? It looks so cute, if only I knew how to take a good selfie to show it off LOL

uh oh, another pixel art thingy this one is inspired by the word "cyberpunk" though I think it went in a totally different direction

an abstract pixel artwork in oranges, yellows and blues in a sort of grid-like design

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 16/09/2026

hey hey another pixel fun time!

today's pixel art practice is...a space fella!

spaceman artwork, a little pixelart of the head of an astronaut (not based on any real astronaut or any IP) against a space background

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 15/09/2026

ok probably the last one for tonight my new dabbling in pixel art ends with a jungle vibe

I got the prompt of "jungle" from my husband and so, I worked with it to create a sort of jungle feel rather than be literal about it

010

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 15/09/2026

okay!!! This is my latest pixel art :) fuckin love this druid this also counts as my first nude that I've ever drawn and posted here, technically!

a druid figure standing in front of a green and gold patterned background. this is part of my pixel art phase

swamp inspired pixel art "sketch" i.e I'm learning pixel art and I decided to draw something inspired by a swamp

I love glitches. Glitches keep me sane

If anyone knows who made this meme pls tell me, I wanna send em $5

Meme where old Paddington Bear is standing next to laptops that says:

Unfortunately
I have to leave early
Because the vibes are off and I hate it here

061

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 04/09/2026

ok so am I nuts or is this shit broken

a screenshot of Dragon Age the Veilguard that shows Varric's talking head. He's seated up against these...pillows? One of them has a twisted border that suddenly stops all of a sudden and this is the exact kind of stupid thing that takes all my attention during a scene once I notice it

I looked good back then with the short hair. I wonder if I should go for that look again sometimes, but I think I want something more in the middle, now. Gonna be a while before I can get myself a haircut though!

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 24/07/2026

I'm done with this artwork :) It was nice to do a personal thing. I don't know what to call it, something something "The Subtle Implications of the Ocean"

a digital drawing drawn mostly in white lines on a plain black background. There is a decorated border where each corner had different bands containing ocean motifs. in the centre of the image is an empty rowboat on the ocean. One oar lays across the rowboat while the other is sinking in the water

041

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 22/07/2026

worked on my #wip a little more this morning. I might pick it up again a little later today but my energy level is low today. I enjoyed the mental exercise of coming up with personal motifs for the ocean :)

my second work in progress image of a digital artwork I'm working on that uses themes of the sea. there's a rowboat in the center with a bunch of corner designs and borders that have motifs that remind me of the ocean like coconuts, fish, sea flora, broken corals

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 21/07/2026

My morning artwork today is a #wip. I can't wait to get back to it but I have to get ready for my 9-5 job! cursessss Why does my mood seem connected to the ocean lately?

a work in progress drawing of an empty rowboat in the ocean with one of its paddles sinking in the water while the other lays across it. the rowboat is in colour while the rest of the image is drawn in white on a black background. there are abstract borders and partially filled in designs in the corners

here's my quick drawing of the day; a sort of weird spaceship

A bit too shiny LOL but I took a Lyft ride where the driver left a binder where you can write a message to the next passenger! The messages in there were incredible!

Sooo I'm going to be playing a charity game this weekend at @nerdswdice.bsky.social (go check it outtttt) and I actually took the time to try and draw my character, Asha! This might be my fave portrait I've ever done since I drew Alan Rickman that one time in class when I was...13??

a digital drawing of a TTRPG character, Asha, who is a teenaged superhero! Her breakdancing and martial arts moves shake and quake the ground!

Khadeja @khadeja.bardrockcafe.com · 24/06/2026

today I started drawing this scene and it's still a #wip! After I do all the colour and linework of the main objects, I'm going to work on a whole layer of grime, dust, and more
